The detachable container house is a modular, knock-down product within the Container House range. It uses a standardized steel structure with detachable wall and roof panels. All components are prefabricated in the factory and quickly assembled on site with bolts or connectors, requiring no complicated construction. It inherits all the advantages of container houses: wide applications, from schools and hospitals to homes and dormitories; high flexibility and portability; a single unit can be installed in about three hours; after Project A is completed, it can be dismantled and relocated to Project B for continued use; it is cost-effective; and even at the end of its service life, the steel can be sold as scrap metal to recoup part of the investment.
Compared with standard container houses, the detachable container house highlights “detachability, reassembly, and repeated turnover.” Components can be packed by category for flat-pack transport, saving shipping space and costs. Main components can be dismantled and reused multiple times, making it suitable for temporary accommodation, project offices, camps, shops, warehouses, dormitories, schools, hospitals, and more. It can be used as a single unit or combined horizontally, vertically, or even stacked in multiple levels to meet different space requirements.
