This two-storey container dormitory building combines sleeping quarters, dining facilities and sanitation in a single compact structure. It was designed and manufactured by Suzhou Taimao Integrated Housing Co., Ltd. and has been shipped to Spain as a complete staff accommodation solution for a construction project.
Instead of renting separate cabins for living, eating and washing, contractors get one integrated building. That reduces site footprint, simplifies management and keeps workers close to their workplace.
Ground floor: living support area
Canteen: a shared dining hall so workers can eat on site.
Kitchen: for preparing meals for the whole team.
Storage room: for food, supplies and equipment.
Toilets: centralized sanitary facilities.
First floor: sleeping area
Rooms can be arranged to your headcount and budget:
Single rooms for supervisors and managers
Double rooms for standard staff
Four-person bunk rooms to maximize capacity
Partition layouts can be adjusted before production, so the same building can serve a small crew or a large team.
Key Features and Benefits
1. Gable roof design for leak prevention
Flat roofs are the weak point of many container houses, because water can pool and seep at seams over time. This building uses a gable (pitched) roof so rain and snow drain away quickly. It lowers leakage risk, protects the interior and significantly extends service life. It also adds an insulating air gap between roof and ceiling.
2. Electrical safety
Each unit is fitted with an independent residual current (leakage) protection device, so a fault in one room does not affect the rest of the building and occupants are protected against electric shock.
3. Comfortable living conditions
The building is air-conditioner ready for hot summers and cold winters. Rooms include windows for natural light and ventilation.
4. Low cost, fast deployment
Compared with brick-and-concrete dormitories, container buildings need far less on-site labor and time. Modules are prefabricated in the factory, shipped and assembled on site, and can be dismantled and relocated when the project ends.
5. Flexible and expandable
Modules connect side by side or stack in two storeys, so the camp can grow with your workforce.
